It was the stillness of the morning; my favorite part of the day. There is nothing as sweet and satisfying than to sit with my King. Religion at times invites me to be distracted with my usual way of communing with the Father but this day was different. There was no invitation to necessarily pray out loud or release my morning decrees. Daddy God simply wanted me to sit in trust. It is a stillness of knowing in the core of your being you are His. Meditating on His love, His presence, His faithfulness in your life. It is basking in His glory and without a word, a knowing that speaks out from within the very depths of who you are, I trust You.
O’God, You are my God; with deepest longing I will seek You; my soul (my life, my very self) thirsts for You, my flesh longs and sighs for You, in a dry and weary land where there is no water, so I have gazed upon You in the sanctuary
