Just another day cleaning my home and picking up the many ornaments I find on the floor. My puppy has enjoyed the Christmas season, constantly grabbing oranaments off the tree to play with and some to chew. As I went to pick up the scattered debris, I soon realized this was my United States of America ornament. My heart felt this moment deeply. I thought to myself, Oh, America here you are in pieces. You are punctured, broken, and scattered. Yet despite the obvious picture of your wounds, I still see hope and possiblity. You may be hanging on by a thread, like the hanging string stripped on this very ornament but there is still a future for you. You are not completely foregone. There is still a church body praying, believing, and decreeing, America shall be saved!

I don’t know about you but I have had moments in my life where all seemed lost. Everything on the outside, like this broken ornament, looked bleak and impossible. Could it be the greatest set up of all time? A nation who has become so desperate and in need that we the church are transitioning through our very own narrowed birthing canal of repentance, purification, and sanctification, soon delivered ourselves to birth revival. Revival is not birthed out of contentment but is forged in the fire of much uncertainty and hardship. We may have been hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed (2 Corinthians 4:8). Get ready America. The church is waking up. Here comes your comeback!

After a season of night falls and push backs

After the heartache of wrong turns and sidetracks

Just when they think they’ve got you game set match

Here comes the comeback
